Jimi Beavis | Cardigan Bar

Harmonica-blowing, lyric-spitting Meanjin firebrand Jimi Beavis has formed a stripped-back band, delivering raw, rocking blues along with the vignettes present in the songs of his other bands, The Holy Rollercoasters and The Wicked Messenger.

But this is where he began, and it’s not stopping here.

He made his mark in a blues band, releasing two EPs and two albums in the 2010s. Now, he's back with a lineup of guitar, double bass, and drums, bringing his original lyrical perspective and Australian accent to the classic blues sounds of the 50s and 80s.
